Scuba Diving
Scuba diving is an exciting and exhilarating hobby that allows you to view an underworld life most won't ever see firsthand. When you are diving, you are given an intimate show of what life looks like below the water line. But, it takes a certain type of person to be able to go scuba diving because it is dangerous.

 

Diving is not only about floating in water, gazing at fishes. It is also about interracting with like-mind people, very similiar to why folks love to travel in group, talking about their loves for travelling.

 

It is an awesome experience, especially if you are travelling in a group to some exotic diving destination like Ambon, Raja Ampat or Donsol, some places faraway that even some of the locals might not have heard of before.

 

Photography
This is the latest hobby of mine. Do not get me wrong, I am no professional in it, just an amateur fooling around with a DSLR - My Nikon D200.

 

Unlike in the past when my dad gave me my first camera, which is a KODAK INSTAMATIC, DSLR has moved a really long way from my first camera.

 

Taking photos both on line and underwater is really fun. You capture moments that will bring smile to your face, even after many years.

 

Buying a camera these days is relative affordable. A good camera (with an underwater housing) is less than SGD$1000. And with portals like Facebook, Multiply, Friendster (just to name a few), you can share images of your travel with your family instantly.

 

Scanning
This is not really a passion. But of recent, I have decided to start scanning of old images of my entire collection, even before I was born I found this images lurking at some dark corner of my parent's place collecting dusk. What a waste.
